So I understand that the vibe of this post is essentially:

“Goodness comes from God alone.” 

… but it also has a vibe, 

“If you pray for something you want you will get it - God is simply a magic genie, don’t you know it fool?” 

Like I’ve prayed for many things. Some of them were answered. Some of them were not. It’s not about the prayer, it’s about the God who’s wiser than we are. 

No, it’s not luck when good things happen to us - any of us. 

Good comes from God alone. He is merciful. He is gracious. 

And our prayers are heard by the Good and Wise Creator. 

But to answer someone who calls us lucky, with “I prayed” - just has a certain sourness in it.
