Pride is not always what we think it is. Pride isn’t always someone being full of themselves and over confident and arrogant. Pride can mean not admitting it when you’re wrong, being too angry or stubborn to apologize when you know you should, or being too afraid to work on things because you’re scared you may not get it right. I’ve even heard that pride can be found in shyness, when a person is more concerned with what others might think of them than what they have to offer others. Pride comes in many shapes. Don’t be deceived into thinking it looks just how you think it does.
